Acting, writing, directing
As much as I adore acting, I love even more the process of bringing a play to life — from imagining it, to putting it on paper, and then co-creating on stage with actors to make something unique.
I am interested in alternative forms of theatrical expression, including immersive theater and the fusion of theater with other visual arts. I also love absurd theater.
I have written several plays and co-founded the Art-Ci Art-Là company, with which I created and staged Once Upon a Time.
As an actress, I have performed in various productions in France and Poland, including those by Art-Ci Art-Là, the Laboratory of Theatrical Expression at the Théâtre Elizabeth Czerczuk in Paris, and the APGEF Theater Workshops. I have also been involved in several improv experiments in France.
ONCE UPON A TIME
AN ALTERNATIVE VERSION OF FAIRY TALES
After several screenplays and directing of short movies, I finally grew to create and put on stage a very first play - Once Upon A Time.
Once Upon A Time (in Polish: A bylo to tak) plays with fairy tales conventions and stereotypes, proposing an alternative world of fairy tales full of irony and absurd but also very close to the reality at the same time.
What if the happy-ever-after of your favorite characters wasn't that happy after all?
What if the Charming Prince didn't want to stay with Sleeping Beauty once woken up?
What if Genie didn't have any wishes to fulfill?
Finally, what if Alice's adventures in Wonderland weren't just an innocent dream ?
